Job summary

Cencora is hiring a Field Reimbursement Specialist to educate providers and their staff on insurance coverage and reimbursement issues, helping patients access specialty medications across a broad US territory. This national role requires weekly travel to healthcare offices and collaboration with cross-functional teams to address payer policies and access barriers.

You will support payors, pharmacies, and providers by sharing expert knowledge on prior authorizations, appeals, coding, formulary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor's degree or relevant practice management experience preferred.
• Previous Field Reimbursement Manager/Specialist experience preferred.
• Willing to obtain a Prior Authorization Certified Specialist (PACS) certification within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Educate provider office staff on access and reimbursement topics.
• Support patient access by resolving reimbursement; coverage challenges.
• Collaborate with client’s reimbursement support services.
• Perform other duties as assigned; travel within designated territory.
