Job summary

The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) in Washington, DC is seeking a proactive professional to identify, recruit, and support pro-Israel student leaders on major college campuses. The role emphasizes mentorship, training, and coordinating opportunities to empower emerging advocates.

Responsibilities include campus visits, building relationships with campus professionals, running AIPAC programs, and creating campus-specific action plans with student leaders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or commensurate experience.
  • Relevant and recent on-campus experience.
  • Command of issues affecting the US-Israel relationship.
  • Familiarity with American legislative and electoral politics.
  • Willingness to spend extensive time traveling.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent public speaking ability.

  • Mobilizes campus activists for pro-Israel political impact.
  • Maintains contact with movement activists to advance and monitor progress of campus initiatives.
  • Reports regularly on campus accomplishments to department leadership, regional colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Other departmental responsibilities as assigned.

This individual will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, engaging, and supporting pro-Israel student leaders on major college campuses. AIPAC is offering a competitive market base salary between$53,000.00and$60,000.00for the position. A job offer within the range will depend on how closely a candidate's skills and experience match the role's requirements. AIPAC also offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package that contributes to employees’ overall total compensation package. We currently follow a hybrid schedule with three days in our offices and two days remotely.
