Job summary

American Israel Public Affairs Committee in Washington, DC, seeks a PAC Manager to lead the PAC strategy, oversee budgeting and endorsements, and provide exemplary service to staff and stakeholders nationwide. Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relevant experience preferred (e.g., political campaign or other political organizations).
  • Exceptional knowledge, background and experience with technology and systems is a must.
  • Excellent writing and communications skills.
  • Knowledge of the issues affecting the U.S. - Israel alliance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the PAC strategy and implement the plan.
  • Manage the PAC budget and endorsement process.
  • Serve as point of contact with outside vendors for PAC operations.
  • Develop tools for staff and stakeholders to monitor PAC data in real time.
  • Ensure seamless flow of PAC information within the DC office and to regional offices.
  • Monitor FEC-related issues and assist with quarterly PAC reports.
  • Conduct staff training on PAC operations.
  • Prepare talking points, PAC presentations, and materials for board meetings.
  • Support additional PAC-related duties as needed.

Summary:

AIPAC’s mission is to encourage and persuade the U.S. government to enact specific policies that create a strong, enduring, and mutually beneficial relationship with our ally Israel. Our focus is clear, we come to work every day motivated to keep America strong and Israel secure.

The AIPAC PAC Manager will work closely with the AIPAC PAC Senior Director and Senior Vice President to achieve the PAC’s overall political objectives including shepherding a significant PAC budget, managing the PAC Portal and providing excellent customer service to staff and stakeholders around the country who interact with the PAC.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • The PAC Manager’s primary responsibility is to have a thorough understanding of the PAC and oversee the continued development and implementation of the strategy, including managing the PAC budget and endorsement process.
  • Serve as point of contact with outside vendors responsible for the PAC operation.
  • Develop tools for staff and stakeholders to receive and monitor PAC data in real time.
  • Ensure the seamless flow of PAC information within the AIPAC DC office and from DC to the AIPAC regional offices.
  • Monitor FEC-related issues associated with the PAC; assist with the preparation of quarterly PAC reports and related materials.
  • Conduct staff training on PAC operations.
  • Troubleshoot issues/respond to questions from regional and DC staff and lay leaders.
  • Develop talking points, PAC presentations, and other materials for board and other presentations.
  • Assist with other PAC-related duties as needed.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • A strong commitment to the US-Israel relationship and willingness to work on a bipartisan basis is necessary.
  • Exceptional knowledge, background and experience with technology and systems is a must.
  • Experience with data tools is necessary including: Smartsheet, Salesforce, Tableau, PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Attention to detail and precision is essential.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience preferred (e.g., political campaign or other political organizations).
  • Political acumen is preferred.
  • Excellent writing and communications skills.
  • Knowledge of the issues affecting the U.S. - Israel alliance.

AIPAC is offering a competitive market base salary between $75,000.00 and $100,000.00 for the position. A job offer within the range will depend on how closely a candidate’s skills and experience match the role’s requirements. AIPAC also offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package that contributes to employees’ overall total compensation package. We currently work remotely two days a week and in our offices the other three. AIPAC is an equal-opportunity employer.
