What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support operational decision-making within the cyber claims framework
- Collaborate with carriers to enhance the claims process and evaluate performance in claims handling
- Implement training programs focused on consultative claims management techniques
- Facilitate communication among teams and stakeholders to align on claim strategies and operational goals
- Provide expert guidance on complex first- and third-party cyber claims issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Substantial claims experience with strong knowledge of insurance carrier claims services
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; law degree preferred
- Strong technical knowledge of cyber lines of coverage and information technology systems
- Must be accessible outside of normal business hours for urgent issues
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and influencing skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- J.D., AIC, ARM, CIC, or CRM, equivalent preferred
- Experience managing complex negotiations and influencing outcomes with insurers and vendors
- Familiarity with cyber incident trends and regulatory changes
- Ability to track claim and breach response examples for educational and business development purposes
- High sense of urgency and exceptional interpersonal skills
