Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Customs Compliance Manager to oversee the DSV Customs Compliance initiative and national brokerage operations. The role focuses on developing a comprehensive program aligned with regulations, leading audits, and training staff to ensure adherence to internal policies.

The ideal candidate has a US Customs Broker License, 5–7 years of relevant experience, and strong data analysis and reporting skills to drive continuous improvement across compliance activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• US Customs Broker License is required.
• Experience with audit processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage the DSV Customs Compliance initiative.
• Manage DSV Customs Brokerage Operations at a national level.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance program aligned with Customs regulations and policies.
• Monitor and assess compliance risks and identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews for compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Provide guidance and training to employees on Customs compliance matters.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement compliance strategies.
• Investigate and address compliance-related incidents, violations, and complaints.
• Monitor regulatory and legislative changes to keep the compliance program current.
• Develop and maintain compliance documentation and record-keeping.
