Job summary

DSV is seeking a Compliance Manager, Customs to oversee national customs compliance and to work with local managers ensuring adherence to regulations within the DSV Customs Brokerage Department.

The role focuses on program development, audits, training, reporting, risk assessment, and documentation. A US Customs Broker License and 5–7 years of relevant experience are preferred; strong leadership and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business.
• US Customs Broker License.
• Experience with audit processes and procedures.
• Working knowledge of USHTS, 19 CFR, and ACE portal.
• Experience in developing and implementing Customs compliance programs and policies.
• Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in Customs compliance management.
• The ability to learn and utilize software information systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage the DSV Customs Compliance initiative.
• Manage the DSV Customs Brokerage Operations at a national level.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance program aligned with regulations and policies.
• Monitor and assess compliance risks and identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with laws and internal policies.
• Provide guidance and training to employees on Customs compliance matters.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement compliance strategies.
• Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory bodies.
• Lead and support internal investigations and audits related to compliance.
• Develop and maintain effective compliance-related documentation and record-keeping.
