Job summary

ARCO Design/Build in Atlanta seeks a Safety Manager with hands-on construction experience to lead our safety program across multiple nationwide projects. You will train on risk management, inspect sites, and collaborate with superintendents and project teams to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.

You will travel 2-3 days per week, conduct investigations, and maintain knowledge of regulations while delivering proactive safety improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Safety and Health experience
• Construction experience required
• Current valid driver's license and ability to travel 2-3 days/week

Responsibilities

• Create and lead training on risk management for office and field
• Provide on-the-spot site training to superintendents and subcontractors
• Lead safety meetings and publish regular safety reports
• Inspect projects for safety compliance and drive improvements
• Investigate incidents to determine causes and corrective actions
• Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations and travel to job sites regularly
