Job summary

ARCO Design/Build in Phoenix seeks a Safety Manager to lead risk management on multiple nationwide projects. You will develop and deliver training, perform on-site coaching, and partner with project teams to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Travel to job sites 2–3 days per week, conduct inspections, investigations, and weekly safety reviews, driving continuous improvement and a strong safety culture at ARCO.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ of Safety and Health Experience preferred.
• Prior Construction Experience is required.
• Possess and maintain a current, valid driver license in your state of residence.
• OSHA 500/510 certification a plus

Responsibilities

• Create and lead training on risk management for office and field settings.
• Provide on-the-spot job site training to superintendents, subcontractors, and associates.
• Attend preconstruction meetings and lead safety portions of meetings.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and publish reports for improvement and compliance.
• Investigate work-related incidents to determine causes and corrective actions.
• Travel to job sites 2–3 days per week, locally and nationwide.
