Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a National Practice Leader to build and scale a national regulatory compliance practice for asset managers, including RIAs, private funds, and related entities. You will originate business, lead a team, and shape offerings, pricing, and growth strategy while maintaining hands-on client work.

The role requires deep knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act, Form ADV, and private funds regulations, with a track record of growing professional services in asset management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, law, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant credentials are a plus.
• Extensive investment management regulatory compliance experience with SEC advisers and private funds.
• Proven ability to build and grow a professional services practice serving asset managers.
• Experience selling advisory services, developing proposals, and expanding senior client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead a national asset management regulatory compliance practice for RIAs and private fund advisers.
• Define offerings, pricing, revenue goals, and multi-year growth roadmap for the practice.
• Own pipeline, bookings, revenue and profitability; manage delivery quality and team.
• Develop market presence through thought leadership, webinars, and executive outreach.
• Oversee Form ADV, Form PF, and other regulatory filings; prepare for SEC examinations.
