Insurance Office of America seeks a National Analytic Consultant for Employee Benefits to lead analytics across the country. You will collect, analyze, interpret, and report data, collaborating with Producers and Benefits teams to drive underwriting evaluations and funding analyses.

The role emphasizes data-driven client insights, performance benchmarking, and continuous process improvement in a remote/hybrid setup across Eastern Time and Florida regions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or related field
  • Knowledge of underwriting, manual rating methodologies, funding arrangements, healthcare pricing tools, and financial risk assessment principles
  • Understanding of experience rating, claim cost projections, and data-driven financial analysis
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and consultative solution-development skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support IOA Benefits Group data analytics activities on a national scale
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret underwriting, claims, financial, and benefits data
  • Evaluate underwriting data and develop recommendations to support carrier pricing, negotiations, and funding analyses
  • Deliver data-driven insights that help clients understand risks, trends, opportunities, and program performance
  • Provide analytical support for renewals, presentations, prospecting, and business development initiatives
  • Create reports, dashboards, financial exhibits, and presentations that communicate complex information clearly
  • Develop and maintain analytics methodologies, reporting standards, and best practices
  • Utilize and evaluate analytics, reporting, and BI tools to enhance client outcomes
  • Analyze trends, benchmarking data, and financial metrics to identify optimization opportunities
  • Recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, reporting accuracy, and service delivery
  • Collaborate with senior analysts, producers, account teams, carriers, and stakeholders
  • Maintain clear communication of analytical findings and recommendations
  • Provide analytical guidance and support team development
  • Maintain knowledge of underwriting methodologies, funding arrangements, analytics tools, market trends
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and compliance
