National Accounts Vice President of Client Management - West Coast

Join to apply for the National Accounts Vice President of Client Management - West Coast role at CVS Health.

Position Summary

The National Accounts VP of Client Management is responsible for driving retention and growth across all products within an assigned geography and book of business. The role involves partnering with the account team on strategic account development and strategy execution, leading RFP processes, and collaborating with Market Heads, Team Leaders, Sales VPs, and Consulting Firm Relations to implement best practices that embody the NA brand promise and support business objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Develop coordinated plans to retain and grow customers in the assigned BOB, using customer insights to tailor sales strategies and develop high-level relationships, including C-suite and B2B opportunities.
  • Partner with Market Leaders and Sales VPs to engage with consultants and groups, supporting the development of Aetna’s NA value proposition and implementing comprehensive sales and marketing plans.
  • Share best practices, act as a market thought leader, mentor less experienced team members, and lead regional client forums.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of strategic account management or consulting experience in the healthcare or insurance industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven track record in leading RFPs and initiatives in a matrixed environment.
Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Additional Information

This role offers a base salary plus a comprehensive sales incentive plan, with a typical pay range of $90,600 to $189,964. The position is full-time, based in the western US, with an anticipated weekly commitment of 40 hours.
