Job summary

NICOR is seeking a driven Project Manager in Buford, GA to oversee lighting and electrical product projects from order to closeout. You will coordinate schedules, billing, and scope while collaborating with Sales, Engineering, and Supply Chain.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of PM experience in electrical or construction settings, with strong organizational and communication skills and proficiency in MS Excel. This in-office role requires travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3–5 years of project management experience in electrical/construction settings.
• Experience with progressive billing and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Manage lighting and electrical product projects from contract award through procurement, delivery, and closeout.
• Serve as the primary customer contact with regular status updates and changes.
• Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure on-time completion.
• Prepare and submit progressive billing including schedules of values and pay apps.
• Partner with Accounting to reconcile project billing and monitor payments.
• Review specifications to ensure product configurations meet requirements.
• Manage change orders impacting scope, price, and schedule.
• Identify and resolve risks, discrepancies, or delays proactively.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain.
• Support Sales with project pricing and quotations as needed.
• Maintain project documentation and reports in company systems.
• Stay current on lighting technologies and applicable codes.
