Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, PM, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of project management experience, preferably in electrical, construction, or distribution environments.
• Direct experience with progressive billing.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel); ERP systems experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret project specifications, drawings, and documents.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Manage lighting and electrical product projects from contract award through procurement, delivery, and closeout.
• Serve as primary customer contact, providing updates on status, schedules, and changes.
• Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Prepare and submit progressive billing, including schedules of values, pay applications, and percent complete invoicing.
• Partner with Accounting to reconcile project billing, monitor payments, and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and submittals to confirm product configurations meet customer requirements.
• Manage change orders, including scope, pricing, and schedule impacts, and communicate them clearly to all parties.
• Identify and resolve project risks, discrepancies, or delays before they impact the customer.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure project accuracy and feasibility.
• Support Sales with project pricing and quotations as needed.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, records, and reporting in company systems.
• Stay current on lighting technologies, electrical products, industry standards, and applicable codes.
