Job summary

NICOR, headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico, seeks a driven Project Manager to oversee lighting and electrical product projects from contract award through delivery and closeout. Qualifications

• 3–5 years of project management experience in electrical, construction, or distribution environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Direct experience with progressive billing.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP or PM software is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret project specifications, drawings, and technical documents.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage lighting and electrical product projects from award to closeout.
• Serve as primary customer contact with regular updates on status and changes.
• Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Prepare progressive billing and payment applications.
• Collaborate with Accounting to reconcile billing and payments.
• Review project specs and drawings to confirm configurations.
• Manage change orders and communicate impacts to all parties.
• Identify and resolve project risks or delays.
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain.
• Support Sales with project pricing and quotations.
• Maintain project documentation and reporting in company systems.
• Stay current on lighting tech and industry standards.
