Job summary

Delaware Valley Paving is seeking a dynamic Business Development Representative to grow our nationwide client base in the paving and maintenance sector. You will identify opportunities, open doors, and close deals while collaborating with Estimating, Operations, and Project Management to ensure execution excellence.

The role requires a hunter mentality, relationship-building, and strong negotiation and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3+ years of business development, sales, or account management experience.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within target industries and national markets.
• Develop and execute strategic outreach plans to build a pipeline of qualified prospects.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for new and existing national clients, driving sales growth.
• Lead client presentations, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
• Coordinate with Estimating, Operations, and Project Management to align proposals with client expectations.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients to uncover additional needs and upsell services or regions.
