Our Hu and Enjoy Life brands within Mondelēz International are seeking a chocolate-loving Sales leader to drive growth in the conventional grocery – West channel for Hu Products. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the CPG sales process in large conventional grocery accounts, especially Albertson’s, with existing relationships with key decision-makers and a proven track record of exceeding sales goals. This position reports to the Sr. National Account Manager – Mass and is remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Sr. National Account Manager to develop sales strategies targeting West Conventional grocery customers.
  • Implement channel strategies to meet annual revenue objectives.
  • Identify and open new channels and accounts, focusing on segments such as Albertson’s, Safeway, HEB, Hy-Vee, and Meijer.
  • Build and maintain relationships with partners to promote in-category opportunities including pricing, promotions, POS, in-store campaigns, SKU mix, and shelf placement.
  • Coordinate with trade and marketing teams to support account growth.
  • Plan, organize, forecast, and manage promotional and trade spend initiatives with the Trade Marketing and Operations teams.
  • Ensure high customer service levels by working with the Operations team.
  • Leverage broker and distributor networks to support channels in line with Hu’s mission, culture, and values.
  • Propose product line adaptations based on trade feedback and competitive analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience.
  • At least 3 years managing Albertson’s; experience with HEB, Hy-Vee, and Meijer is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of the conventional grocery landscape at all levels.
  • Proven success as a top-performing CPG salesperson and team leader.
  • Experience developing impactful sales strategies.
  • Strong partnership skills with brokers and third-party merchandising teams.
  • Experience managing distributor relationships (e.g., UNFI, KeHe).
  • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and storytelling skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and growth mindset skills.

The salary range is $117,400 to $161,425, with additional bonus potential based on performance. Benefits include health insurance, wellness programs, life and disability insurance, retirement plans, paid leave, and more. No relocation support is provided.
