A Day in the Life:
As a National Account Manager, you will be responsible for leading Bunge’s efforts to profitably grow the business with major national foodservice chain customers by developing new accounts and by improving share and value mix with existing customers.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Be a catalyst for the change required to meet Bunge’s strategic growth objectives with major foodservice chains.
- Develop and implement sales strategies for new and existing key national accounts and execute customer development plans to build long-term partnerships.
- Develop relationships with key leaders within customer organizations, including leadership, procurement, marketing, product development, and quality assurance.
- Coordinate with other Bunge teams in applications, R&D, marketing, and price risk management to create a differentiated customer experience that drives growth.
- Drive customer focus by advocating for your customers within Bunge, acting as their champion.
- Perform prospecting and account management tasks such as customer insights, price intelligence, forecasting, planning, service delivery, and contract management.
- Minimize risk for Bunge through strong commercial acumen and customer connectivity.
Skills/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred.
- 4+ years of Foodservice National or Corporate Accounts sales experience required.
- Strong customer knowledge and relationships within the Foodservice segment.
- Experience in solution selling to drive value-added sales.
- Ability to manage a portfolio of products from staples to specialty and value-added items.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
