Job summary

Meta Security is seeking an experienced Security Engineer to join our Nation State leadership team. You will work across security and engineering to drive strategy and build detection and response automation leveraging industry-standard and custom platforms.

You’ll identify critical assets and TTPs, assess top risks, review security architectures, and collaborate with policy, legal, and incident response teams to strengthen defenses against sophisticated threats.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in security operations or related engineering.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams
• Experience delivering executive security strategy
• BS in CS or equivalent work experience
• Experience designing systems for external and insider threats

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize security risks across the company
• Lead cross-company workstreams to deploy security capabilities
• Lead incident detection and response initiatives
• Model threats across assets including endpoints, cloud, networks
• Propose logging, detection, and prevention controls
• Build response workflows to auto-resolve false positives
