Meta Security is seeking an experienced Security Engineer to join our Nation State leadership team. You will drive strategy across security and engineering, influence stakeholders, and develop detection and response automation across both custom and industry platforms.

You’ll identify critical assets, assess top risks, and evaluate potential attacks against Meta systems. You will lead cross-functional initiatives to mitigate risk, design robust logging and detection, and build scalable incident

Qualificações

• Understanding of how to manage security risks in a fast-moving environment.
• 10+ years of experience in offensive or defensive cyber operations, detection and response engineering, or a similar security engineering role.
• Experience communicating and influencing across functions to drive solutions.
• Experience delivering executive-level security strategies.
• Engineering experience and the capacity to understand and reason about complex technical systems.
• Experience designing systems used for responding to both external and insider threats.
• Background or degree or equivalent work experience in CS or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Proactively identify and prioritize areas of risk across the company.
• Lead cross-company workstreams to deploy capabilities from multiple security teams.
• Apply attacker’s mindset to strengthen incident detection and response capabilities.
• Perform TTP-based threat modeling across assets including endpoints, servers, cloud, and networking.
• Review security architecture and propose logging, detection, and prevention controls.
• Collaborate with policy and legal teams to strengthen standards and governance.
• Build response workflows that auto-resolve false positives and provide context.
• Influence asset-owning teams to adopt proper access control designs.
• Support security incident response in cross-functional environments.
