Job summary

The Walsh Group in Nashville, TN is seeking an experienced Project Engineer I to join our team on a multi-billion dollar campus project downtown. You will support the project team with document control, coordination of materials, and daily field activities while growing toward leadership.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience, a bachelor’s degree preferred, and proficiency with MS Office, Bluebeam, P6, Procore, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in project coordination or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience can include internships, co-ops, or prior employment.
• Computer skills are required, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, P6, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Document control (drawing revisions, RFIs, submittals, change orders, etc.).
• Assist and support the project team with daily coordination, procurement and expediting of construction materials.
• Front line Quality Control / Quality Assurance checks and monitoring.
• Coordination of trade partners
• Production tracking of trade partners and self-perform crews
• Project photography and other documentation for progress reporting
• Manage construction equipment logs with the Superintendent(s)
• Participate in safety management and culture development
• Cost estimating and schedule analysis for change orders
• Project site inspections and checklist completion
