Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our team on a multi-billion dollar campus project in downtown Nashville, TN. This role offers visibility on complex projects and a path to grow within a large, family-owned company.

You will assist leadership with planning, scheduling, and coordination; develop safety and quality plans; forecast costs; manage change orders; lead project engineers; and coordinate with trade partners to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to establish internal and external relationships and lead people.
• Computer skills are required, including MS Office, Bluebeam, P6, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Assist leadership with project planning, scheduling and coordination
• Safety and Quality plans development and management
• Accurate forecasting and management of project costs
• Change order management, including the use of Clearstory
• Manage critical trade partners to ensure their success
• Lead, manage and develop the Project Engineers
• Participate in dispute resolution, material expediting and delivery planning and Subcontract administration
• Maintain vehicle, equipment, and tool tracking and management
