Job summary

The Walsh Group – Walsh Construction & Archer Western in Nashville seeks an experienced Project Manager for a multi-billion-dollar campus project in downtown Nashville, TN. You will lead a multifaceted team, oversee project controls, safety, and client relations to deliver on-time, on-budget results.

The role requires strong leadership, 8+ years in construction, and hands-on use of tools like P6, Procore, and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or preferred in construction management or engineering.
• 8+ years of project management experience on large construction projects.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for project controls including cost, planning, scheduling, engineering, supervision and management of team personnel
• Lead project start-up, project completion and the entire close-out process
• Coordinate with BIM/CAD and VDC staff to resolve clashes when required to support VDC staff
• Manage both Prime Contract and subcontract requirements
• Establish and maintain customer relationships and satisfaction
• Lead accurate forecasting of costs for job completion
• Develop and manage the project-specific Quality Control Plan
• Escalate issues to Program Manager or project executive as required to ensure the success of the project
• Review and approve preliminary schedules, financial projections and cost to complete
• In conjunction with the Project Accountant and/or Financial Manager, update and deliver accurate and timely cost report updates and P&L statements
• Ensure construction site rules and procedures are implemented and followed in relation to safety, cleanliness and logistics
• Coordinate with and support the Safety Manager to ensure projects deliver superior safety performance
