Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking an experienced Project Engineer II for a multi-billion dollar campus project in downtown Nashville, TN. You will work on visible, complex projects and help grow into a future leader within a family-owned, 128-year-old company.

Responsibilities include document control, coordinating procurement, QA/QC, trade partner coordination, and site inspections. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and relocation to Nashville is considered for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of construction experience.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience may include internships, co-ops, or prior roles.
Strong computer skills required (Office, Bluebeam, P6, Procore, ACC).

Responsibilities

Document control including drawings revisions, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
Assist and support project team with daily coordination, procurement, and expediting materials.
Quality control/QA checks and coordination of mock-ups.
Coordinate trade partners.
Track production of trade partners and self-perform crews.
Take project photographs and document progress for reporting.
Manage construction equipment logs with the Superintendent(s).
Participate in safety management and culture development.
Assist with cost estimating and schedule analysis for change orders.
Conduct project site inspections and complete checklists.
