Job summary

Allied Universal Event Services is hiring for Event Security in Nashville, TN. This part-time role involves bag checks, access control, and delivering excellent guest service at venues. Flexible evenings and weekends with weekly pay are available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test are required; driving a company vehicle may require additional screening.
• Able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution.
• Allow appropriate entry into each venue, verify tickets, direct traffic, and scan wristbands/badges where applicable.
• Screen guests during entry via bag searches, metal detector, and ID verification.
• Protect guests, staff, and assets by monitoring for security breaches at checkpoints.
• Respond quickly to crowd control issues and escort unruly guests when needed.
• Follow policies and regulations of different venues and events.
• Provide a positive guest experience at facility entrances and common areas.
• Offer directions and information to enhance entertainment experiences.
