Job summary

Allied Universal Event Services in Nashville, TN is seeking part-time Event Security staff. The role offers evenings and weekend shifts with $18/hr starting pay and weekly pay. Training to obtain a TN Guard Card is provided during the hiring process.

Responsibilities include bag checks, access control, and ensuring guest safety while delivering excellent customer service. Background check and post-offer drug testing are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• TN Guard Card requirement or willingness to obtain; training provided.
• Background check and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test.
• Able to exercise independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in event day preparation and execution.
• Manage entry by checking tickets and directing guests.
• Screen guests and verify IDs at entry points.
• Protect guests and assets and respond to security issues.
• Provide escorts for unruly guests when needed.
• Communicate policies and procedures clearly to guests.
