Job summary

Accura Engineering seeks a Construction Inspector for full-time work on the MSFC campus in Mississippi. The role monitors construction, operations, maintenance, and repairs to ensure compliance with NASA MSFC standards and contract drawings.

You will review submittals in Procore, track payments, prepare daily inspection reports, and support pre-final/final inspections. A HS diploma is required; 3+ years of gov. construction inspection is preferred, with HVAC/electrician experience valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
• 3+ years of inspection experience on U.S. Government construction projects preferred.
• HVAC/master journeyman or electrician experience valued.
• US Citizen and ability to pass federal background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide inspection and surveillance of construction activities to ensure work conforms to contract drawings, specs, and NASA MSFC standards.
• Review construction submittals and monitor via Procore.
• Review requests for progress payments.
• Generate daily inspection reports and track project schedule progress.
• Maintain orderly files: correspondence, meeting minutes, payments, and progress reports.
• Monitor RFIs and contract documents for continuity during construction.
• Assist in pre-final and final inspections and finalize punch lists for payment.
• Review design and as-built drawings for accuracy and constructability.
• Assist in review of O&M Manuals and address incomplete information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
