Job summary

Nova Space Solutions, LLC is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the NASA Stennis Space Center by coordinating and tracking day-to-day engineering activities, assisting with proposal documents, and maintaining service requests and cost data. You will act as the engineering point of contact for work control and help ensure milestones are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field, or 6 years of engineering/project management experience.
• U.S. Citizenship required for NASA badge.
• Able to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background and drug screen.
• Familiarity with engineering workflows and work control systems.
• Experience using project management tools (MS Project, Primavera) and ability to manage schedules and costs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track day-to-day engineering project activities at NASA Stennis Space Center.
• Support development, organization, and assembly of proposal documents and supporting materials.
• Maintain and update engineering service requests, ensuring estimates, scope details, and completion dates remain accurate.
• Serve as the primary engineering point of contact for work control, providing updates on project status, costs, and documentation requirements.
• Monitor project progress and assist with cost tracking, schedule adherence, and milestone reporting.
• Support project controls personnel with scheduling inputs, timeline updates, and resource coordination.
• Facilitate communication between engineering staff, project managers, and work control teams to ensure alignment on priorities.
• Assist Engineering Management with coordinating and assigning project-related tasks.
• Maintain project documentation standards and support workflow/process improvements.
• Track and report action items, risks, and issues affecting project execution.
• Help with training on project management tools or procedures.
• Assist with Maximo purchase requests, PO, invoices, and accruals.
• Monitor logistics of shipments and deliveries for projects.
• Support PMO with change management activities (RFCs, COs, RFIs, transmittals).
• Participate in project reviews and status meetings.
• Support data deliverables and weekly/monthly status quads.
