Job summary

ASRC Federal is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support NASA programs, focusing on budget planning, formulation, and execution. You will work with center project leads and HQ managers to maintain cost and schedule visibility throughout the program lifecycle.

The role requires strong Excel modeling, cost estimation, and communication skills, with a hybrid work arrangement onsite three days per week and occasional travel to domestic sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant work experience.
• Advanced Excel with lookup, pivot tables; macros beneficial.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications.
• Team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Ability to prioritize work and communicate time estimates to leadership.
• Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
• Willingness to travel domestically ~2 trips/year.
• U.S. Citizen and eligibility for government clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost estimates for projects by analyzing labor, materials, and schedule.
• Identify gaps in budget processes and propose efficient solutions.
• Create and use cost estimation and modeling tools for performance insights.
• Monitor contracts and variances; prepare monthly status reports.
• Prepare financial reports documenting budgets, funds, and expenditures.
• Suggest process improvements to increase efficiency across the program.
• Support project management with presentations and documentation for reviews.
• Coordinate with NASA HQ and field centers on milestones and deliverables.
• Plan and schedule activities for program reviews and meetings.
• Capture notes, disseminate actions, and track follow-ups.
