CD PROJEKT RED in Warsaw is seeking a Senior Engineer to join our Narrative and Localization teams. You will help craft tools, pipelines and systems to manage dialogue at scale, bringing storytelling to life in our games.

The role emphasizes collaboration across Story, Localization, Quest and Cinematic teams, delivering high-quality, scalable code and maintaining tools such as the Screenplay Editor and Dialogue Player.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in the game industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, mathematics or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive professional experience with Unreal Engine and/or other engines, and strong C++ programming skills.
• Ability to comprehend unfamiliar code and work across many systems in the code base.
• Solid communication skills, with the ability to communicate in English.
• A team player.
• An Agile mindset is a plus.
• Passion for creating games.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with Story, Localization, Quest, and Cinematic teams to find solutions that achieve creative and technical goals.
• Write high-quality code that is optimised, scalable, bug‑free, and aligned with project goals.
• Build and maintain narrative content tools, systems and pipelines, including: Screenplay Editor and its connection to the Sequencer; Dialogue Player to present subtitles and play voiceovers; Voicesets for open world NPCs; Pipelines for synchronization of narrative content.
