Job summary

Silent Games, based in the UK, is seeking a Contract Narrative Designer/Writer to craft compelling NPC quests, dialogue, and item descriptions for a Magical GirlAction RPG. You will shape the broader story arcs and ensure consistency with the Game Director’s vision from Newcastle-upon-Tyne studio.

The role requires strong knowledge of Magical Girl anime and romance arcs, experience in RPG narrative craft, and familiarity with Unreal Engine 5.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Magical Girl anime and romance arcs.
• Experience crafting narratives for RPGs and using Unreal Engine 5 (UE5).
• Ideally shipped games as a Narrative Designer/Writer.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality NPC questlines, dialogue, and item descriptions.
• Build high-level story and main quest structures that fit the Game Director's vision.
• Ensure narrative quality, consistency, and accuracy across the game.
