Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. in Georgia is seeking a licensed Pharmacy Technician to support the Narcotics Pharmacist Supervisor with daily operations in a long-term care setting.

You will handle floor stock, process returns, prepack meds, package fill and ship medications, and help maintain pharmacy standards. Eligible candidates must be a GA-licensed Pharmacy Technician, have a high school diploma, and be reliable with strong math and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Licensed GA Pharmacy Technician required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned.
• Basic Math and computer skills.
• Frameworks/ECM knowledge a plus.
• Ability to physically perform light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Maintains floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications in a timely manner.
• Assist in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure.
• Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
• Package fill and ship medications.
• Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies.
• Complies with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code.
• Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.

• 10:30am-7:00pm with rotating weekends and holidays.
