Job summary

Wayne Alarm Systems on Nantucket Island is seeking a motivated Alarm Systems Technician and Apprentice to support our growing operations. This role involves installing Access Control, Fire Alarm, CCTV, and IP video systems while delivering high‑quality service.

This full‑time position offers competitive hourly pay ($22.00–$45.00), benefits, and strong growth potential. You will diagnose problems, replace components, handle inventory, and respond to emergencies to ensure safety and satisfaction

Qualifications

Experience with alarm panels and life-safety systems.
Ability to troubleshoot technical problems.
Excellent customer service skills.
Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Install security products including Access Control, Fire Alarm, Security Systems, CCTV and IP Video.
Diagnose causes of problems or failures to identify repairs.
Replace system components such as panels and audible/visual alarms.
Request equipment and maintain inventory for service needs.
Respond to emergencies during and after hours to resolve safety concerns.
Maintain assigned vehicle, tools, and equipment and keep inventory records.
