New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene is seeking a City Research Scientist to support naloxone distribution initiatives and data analysis. The role focuses on rigorous data management, reporting, and collaboration with multiple teams to improve public health outcomes.

Formación

• Master's degree in physical, biological, environmental science or public health
• Doctorate degree in physical, biological, environmental or social science and at least two years of relevant supervisory/research experience

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with OENDU and BADU to gather and analyze naloxone dispensing data.
• Use Access and/or R to clean naloxone data for NYC initiatives.
• Generate PowerBI dashboards and data tables to support program evaluation.
• Solicit monthly naloxone distribution reports from OOPPs and provide technical assistance.
• Train OOPPs to submit dispensing data; monitor submission rates and assist as needed.
• Enter monthly distribution data timely; reconcile data and prepare reports for data processing.
