Job summary

Commander, Navy Installations Command is seeking an HR professional to support NABSD’s hiring needs at the Naval Academy. The role focuses on recruiting, benefits, payroll, and HR processes across 20+ departments, with cross-training in other HR areas as needed.

The ideal candidate will assist the HR Deputy Director and Director in implementing policies and managing staffing, records, and performance management while ensuring compliance with regulations and deadlines.

• Recruiting experience and ability to support NABSD's hiring needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist HR Deputy Director and Director in delivering NAF HR policies, regulations and directives; support recruitment and placement, benefits, payroll, records administration, HR development and performance management.
• Maintain visibility over all parts of the hiring process from initiation to completion; advise on staffing and hiring process; screen applications and determine preference categories.
• Utilize SAP HRIS and ADP for benefits and compensation reconciliation; develop ad-hoc SAP queries to ensure alignment of benefit costs and payroll.
