Interstate Batteries is seeking a route sales professional to consistently service and aggressively expand an assigned customer base along a fixed route in Midland, TX. You will sell batteries to National Account dealers, rotate batteries, collect cores, and keep displays and dealer lists current.

You will also service dealers, build strong relationships, complete timely documentation, and collect/return junk batteries to the distributorship.

Competenze

• Must have clean driving record.
• Prior sales experience highly desirable.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Current, valid state driver’s license
• Ability to read, write and compute basic math.
• Minimum 2 years demonstrated sales, customer service and delivery experience

Purpose of Job:

Work Environment

Regularly required to use hands to grasp or handle, talk and hear, stand and walk. Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus Ability to lift and/or move 50+ lbs. Exposed to battery warehouse conditions such as exposure to moving equipment mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals.
