Interstate Batteries is seeking a Route Sales Associate to service and grow a defined customer set along a fixed path in Texas. You will deliver batteries, rotate inventory, maintain displays, and build strong dealer relationships while ensuring accurate documentation.

The role emphasizes customer service, effective communication, and safety. Requires a clean driving record, a valid license, and at least two years in sales or delivery. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have clean driving record.
• Prior sales experience highly desirable.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current, valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to read, write and compute basic math.
• Minimum 2 years demonstrated sales, customer service and delivery experience.

Work Environment:

Regularly required to use hands to grasp or handle, talk and hear, stand and walk. Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Ability to lift and/or move 50+ lbs. Exposed to battery warehouse conditions such as exposure to moving equipment mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals.
