Job summary

The Trade Desk is seeking a Software Engineering Intern in Seattle to contribute on meaningful projects, working in person three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).

You will be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program with expected graduation between Autumn 2027 and Summer 2028, and you will receive mentorship from experienced software engineers while collaborating with a globally connected team on distributed systems and data processing.

Qualifications

• Fluent in one or more modern object-oriented programming languages.
• Strong grasp of data structures and algorithmic techniques.
• A quick and self-directed learner with ownership over the design, plan, and implementation of what you build.

Responsibilities

• Own and ship a meaningful project end-to-end.
• Receive one-on-one mentorship from an experienced software engineer.
• Collaborate with a globally connected team of engineers, interns, and other teams across the world.
• Work with new technologies across a wide spectrum of computer science, including: distributed systems, petabyte-scale data processing, machine learning/AI, and UI/UX.
