Job summary

The Trade Desk in the United States is offering a software engineering internship for students pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree. You will own and ship a meaningful project end-to-end and receive one-on-one mentorship from an experienced engineer.

You will collaborate with a globally connected team across the world and work with distributed systems, large-scale data processing, machine learning, and UI/UX. Availability to work in the office 3 days a week (Tue–Thu) is required.

Qualifications

• Fluent in one or more modern object-oriented programming languages.
• Strong grasp of data structures and algorithmic techniques.
• A quick and self-directed learner with ownership over the design, plan, and implementation of what you build.
• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program.
• Expected to graduate between Autumn 2027 and Summer 2028.
• Availability to work 3 days in person in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).

Responsibilities

• Own and ship a meaningful project end-to-end with strong ownership.
• Receive one-on-one mentorship from an experienced software engineer.
• Collaborate with a globally connected team of engineers and other teams.
• Work with technologies across distributed systems, petabyte-scale data processing, ML/AI, and UI/UX.
