Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a seasoned engineering leader to guide a team through the design, verification, and launch of low‑voltage power supply modules for vehicles. You will drive robust program execution, ensure rigorous documentation, and coordinate with suppliers and core teams to achieve on‑time production.

You will oversee cross‑functional collaboration, manage complex issues in packaging and electrical design, and lead root‑cause analyses and corrective actions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years delivering electrical modules to production.
  • Experience and knowledge of electrical modules, PCB/circuit design (DCDC, Ultracapacitors).
  • Experience leading electrical modules through launch to production and communicating under pressure.
  • Experience in Applications Engineering and Program Management.

Responsibilities

  • Guide and mentor a team of engineers through implementation of low‑voltage power supply module hardware from design to launch.
  • Drive program execution with adherence to processes, sign‑offs, and documentation.
  • Identify and address packaging and electrical design issues; lead root cause analyses and corrective actions.
  • Facilitate trade‑off discussions with stakeholders to ensure alignment and robust engineering reviews.
  • Serve as liaison with module suppliers on timing plans and projects.
  • Manage requirements and follow‑ups with the Core team.
  • Review SDS testing, FEDEDDVP, and maintain manuals; monitor AIMS, DURSI, and Fleet issues to closure.

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Guide and mentor a team of engineers through the implementation of low‑voltage power supply module hardware, from initial architecture design to final implementation/Launch in vehicles.
  • Drive rigorous program execution, ensuring adherence to established processes, comprehensive sign‑offs, and meticulous documentation to meet all quality and functional requirements.
  • Proactively identify and address complex issues related to packaging and electrical design; lead root cause analysis, define effective corrective actions, and oversee their implementation.
  • Facilitate critical trade‑off discussions with key stakeholders, ensuring robust engineering reviews and decision forums lead to clear alignment and optimal outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the module suppliers specifically on Timing plans and projects.
  • Manage requirements and follow‑ups with the Core team.
  • Review and establish SDS testing through FEDEDDVP; review and edit owner and workshop manuals; monitor AIMS, DURSI, and Customer Fleet and react to any issues, following them to closure.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 1+ years of direct leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience overseeing engineers or technical program managers.
  • Experience and demonstrated knowledge of electrical modules, PCB/circuit design (DCDC, Ultracapacitors).
  • Demonstrated success in leading electrical modules through the launch process to production, coupled with the ability to communicate effectively in high‑pressure situations.
  • Experience in Applications Engineering and Program Management.
  • 3+ years of experience delivering electrical modules to production.
  • 3+ years of experience in component design and release.
  • Proven cross‑functional leadership capabilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to effectively interface with senior leadership.
  • A self‑motivated approach with the ability to define strategic plans and proficiently manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
  • A strong cost and quality mindset, applied to both process optimization and product delivery.
