Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer – Power Electronics
Location: Torrance, CA
Position type: FTE
Key Responsibilities
Lead electrical system design for high‑power electronic products from concept through production
Design and develop:
Inverters and converters (AC/DC, DC/AC)
Gate driver circuits
High‑power electronic systems and assemblies
Auto‑transformers and related magnetic components
Perform schematic capture, simulation, and analysis using industry‑standard tools
Drive PBA (Printed Board Assembly) layout design in collaboration with layout engineers
Ensure compliance with EMI/EMC requirements and support testing and certification
Conduct electrical troubleshooting at board, subsystem, and system levels
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities including design reviews, validation, and manufacturing transition
Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, firmware, manufacturing, and quality teams
Prepare and review technical documentation, test plans, and design reports
Support military and defense programs requiring strict compliance and documentation standards
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field
