Job summary

Worldpac is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist – North America to support and execute accurate, timely payroll across the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada in Oak Brook, IL. The role emphasizes end-to-end payroll processing, reconciliations, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5+ years of payroll experience, strong U.S. multi-state knowledge, and excellent analytical and communication skills, with Workday/ADP familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of progressive payroll experience.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of U.S. multi-state payroll.
• Experience with reconciliations, audits, and payroll controls.
• Excellent Excel skills and data analysis abilities.
• Ability to explain payroll concepts clearly to employees and partners.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for North America (US, Puerto Rico, Canada).
• Perform payroll reconciliations, variance analyses, and audits.
• Support quarterly and year-end payroll filings and reporting (W-2).
• Maintain payroll data integrity and collaborate with HRIS, HR, and external providers.
