Responsibilities
Position Summary:
This position ensures that products are mixed in accordance with company guidelines and formula specifications. It is responsible for complying with safety work rules at all times and reinforcing safety as a core value. Ensures all policies, procedures, and activities related to food safety & quality are followed to reduce product and process variability.
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Attending and actively participating in safety meetings and trainings.
- Always ensure regulatory compliance.
- Accurately weigh all ingredients to ensure consistent batching of products.
- Set up the mixing room and ensure correct formulation of liquid egg products and ingredients using approved procedures.
- Ensure accuracy and quality of individual batches transferred to the proper holding tank.
- Assemble and disassemble all piping and pumps accordingly.
- Ensure continuous product flow to each line.
- Determine if product meets customer specifications and take corrective actions as needed.
- Record LOT numbers, pH, egg solids, and egg usage on batch sheets and forms.
- Maintain scales and meters for precise readings.
- Have thorough knowledge of Clean in Place (CIP).
- Assist in general good housekeeping of the area including pipes, pumps, and tanks.
- Ensure a safe and healthy workplace for everyone by adhering to safety policies and procedures.
- Follow GMPs and HACCP guidelines, maintain sanitary conditions, and report any safety or quality concerns immediately.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education, Experience & Skills:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills necessary to operate equipment controls.
- Knowledge of pumps and valves with 6 to 12 months of related experience.
- Ability to perform basic math operations and measurements.
- Ability to read and recognize simple words and numbers, and communicate in simple sentences.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Wearing proper PPE such as hair nets, ear plugs, and earmuffs as required.
- Ability to bend, stoop, climb, reach above shoulder level, and ascend/descend stairs.
- Frequent walking and standing.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work indoors in wet and humid environments and stand on hard surfaces.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
