Job summary

Fact Base is hiring a Finance Manager, North America, to build and lead the regional accounting and finance function from the ground up in Schaumburg, Illinois. You will own the monthly close, multi-entity consolidation, and tax compliance for U.S.

GAAP, while coordinating with Tokyo and HQ on policy and audits. You will manage external CPA and payroll providers, drive controls, budgeting, and reporting, and hire the initial finance staff.

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and federal and multi-state tax compliance.
• Experience managing external CPA, tax or payroll providers.
• Experience in a subsidiary of a foreign parent, a startup or fast-growing company.
• Advanced business-level English or above.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly close, multi-entity consolidation for North America.
• Manage regional consolidation and reporting to headquarters.
• Coordinate tax compliance with external advisors and transfer pricing.
• Maintain internal controls and accounting policies; respond to audits.
