Job summary

RINA in Lisle, IL is seeking a North America Electrical Engineering Project Manager to join the Americas Energy Engineering Solutions Division. The role leads projects from concept to completion, balancing scope, schedule, and budget while coordinating with engineers, clients, and internal teams.

The successful candidate will drive project plans, manage contracts and risks, and ensure quality deliverables and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in an engineering or project management role within a project setting, ideally with exposure to cross-functional teamwork.
• Strong planning and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Knowledge of project management principles, scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive project plan outlining scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Adjust project plans as needed to address changes in scope, timeline, or resources, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure all project activities comply with client contract terms and track amendments.
• Act as the main client contact, providing regular status updates and addressing inquiries or concerns.
• Coordinate task assignments with project engineers and discipline leaders to optimize team utilization.
• Develop and monitor the project budget; identify cost-saving opportunities and report variances.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation plans; maintain risk log and update stakeholders.
• Oversee quality control and conduct post-project reviews; maintain project documentation and reports.
