RINA is recruiting for a North America Electrical Engineering Project Manager to join its Illinois office within the Americas Energy Engineering Solutions Division. The role focuses on leading projects from initiation to completion, ensuring scope, budget and deadlines are met with strong client interaction.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in engineering/project management, with proficiency in budgeting, contracts and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in an engineering or project management role within a project setting.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Advanced certifications or coursework in project management or technical fields (optional but beneficial).
• Understanding of industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive project plan outlining scope, objectives and deliverables.
• Adjust project plans as needed and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure contract terms are followed and manage amendments with client.
• Act as main client contact, provide regular status updates and address inquiries.
• Facilitate client meetings to discuss progress and gather feedback.
• Coordinate task assignments with engineers and discipline leaders.
• Monitor team performance and provide guidance to ensure timely completion.
• Develop and track project budget; identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop a risk management plan and monitor risks across the lifecycle.
• Oversee quality control to ensure deliverables meet standards.
• Maintain up-to-date project documentation and reports.
