Job summary

RINA is seeking a Marine Design & Engineering Projects Engineer to join the Americas Marine Engineering Division. The role focuses on technically executing high-value projects, ensuring quality and compliance of all deliverables, and coordinating with engineers and subcontractors to meet client expectations.

The Project Engineer will supervise technical implementation, manage resource allocations, and guide junior staff while upholding safety and industry standards across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• 6+ years of experience in technical projects.
• Experience managing projects using established PM disciplines and methodologies.
• Understanding of PM project controls (scheduling and cost control) and change management process.
• Proficiency in quality control and assurance processes; knowledge of compliance and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the technical assessment and feasibility for the proposal phase.
• Oversee the technical work to meet content quality and project milestones.
• Lead the project engineering team and coordinate with subcontractors.
• Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory requirements across the project lifecycle.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and reporting throughout the project.
