Job summary

Energy Dome is seeking a Director of Business Development for North America. Based in North America with the new Boulder HQ, you will lead efforts to grow the project pipeline, advance commercial opportunities, and coordinate with the regional sales and project execution teams.

You will engage customers and partners, structure deals including equipment supply and tolling, and help the company reach commercial agreements to finance and construct Energy Dome plants.

Qualifications

• 10+ years work experience in business development within the IPP and/or utility space.
• Experience in North American market for Long Duration Energy Storage, energy plants, Oil & Gas components, or renewables.
• Deep knowledge of North American markets, structure and players.
• Fluent English with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, manage and advance commercial relationships with customers, development partners and other strategics to grow Energy Dome project pipeline in North America.
• Develop and manage customer plans identifying barriers and needs to guide the team toward commercial agreements.
• Structure term sheets for Equipment Supply Contracts, Tolling Agreements, and joint-venture opportunities for project development and construction.
• Coordinate with the SVP of North America and Director of Sales to ensure growth goals are met.
• Host customer meetings from inception to advanced contracting.
• Maintain professional customer and partner engagement as the lead sales and business development contact.
• Manage deadlines and push the team to ensure timeliness.
• Support pipeline documentation with North America and home office in Italy.
• Assist in building out the North American team through cross-functional collaboration.
