Qualifications

• Recent or soon-to-be-completed PhD (within the last 0-5 years) in experimental physics, chemistry, engineering, materials science, or equivalent.
• Experience in ultrafast measurement science, such as ultrafast spectroscopy, nonlinear optics, time-resolved X-ray, electron, or optical microscopy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative research environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental and applied research on ultrafast electronic, structural, and nonequilibrium dynamics of MXene materials.
• Develop and apply state-of-the-art ultrafast spectroscopy and microscopy methods.
• Collaborate with Argonne staff and collaborators to advance transient photoelectron spectroscopy and related capabilities.
