Job summary

Monroe-Woodbury Central School District invites applications for an ENL Teacher at Pine Tree Elementary. The teacher will support English learners, implement differentiated instruction, and integrate technology into the curriculum.

Requirements include TESOL certification and NYSED fingerprinting; bilingual preferred. Effective: Sept 1, 2025. The candidate will collaborate with staff and families to promote student achievement in a diverse learning environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of school organization, goals and objectives, curriculum, teaching techniques, current trends, research, and materials of instruction in field of specialization.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of the teaching and learning process.
• Ability to infuse technology into curriculum.
• Skilled in tracking student progress toward achieving goals and communicating progress to parents regularly.
• Knowledge of various assessment tools (running records, etc.)
• Experience in differentiating instruction to meet students’ needs and encouraging student growth and progress.
• Ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds who have diverse skills and needs.
• Desire to grow as a part of a professional community by utilizing research-based tools, practices, and approaches to support varied means of instructional practice and delivery, student learning, and students’ overall growth and achievement.
• Possesses exemplary interpersonal skills and tools for collaboration with all school faculty, staff, administrators, and families in service to students.
