Job summary

Navy Region Southeast Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) at Naval Air Station, Jacksonville, FL seeks a versatile Recreation Aide to support MWR events, ticket sales, rentals, and activity programs, including bowling, movies, outdoor recreation, and leisure skill classes.

Responsibilities include customer service, processing registrations, inventory, marketing support, and assisting with staff scheduling and training, while adhering to NAVMED sanitation and EEO policies.

Qualifications

• Combination of experience related to customer service and or recreation activity-based functions.
• Ability to organize, plan, administer special events and entertainment activities.
• Must be able to work independently, make sound decisions and have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service and information for Community Recreation programs.
• Handles sales, fees, and daily transaction reporting.
• Assists in planning and executing MWR events and workshops.
• Maintains inventory and checks equipment for accountability.
• Supports recruitment, training, and scheduling of staff.
